By the conclusion of 2024, nine health sector projects, both local and international, will have been established in the integrated zone of Khazaen Economic City, located in the South Al Batinah Governorate. The cumulative investment for these projects is estimated at OMR156 million, equivalent to approximately $405 million.
Khazaen Economic City has detailed that these investments encompass specialized pharmaceutical initiatives, including the manufacturing of human vaccines, the production of medications and medical supplies, as well as the development of facilities for the storage and importation of medicines and medical equipment.
