Muscat: In a recent announcement, the National Committee for Emergency Management (NCEM) has made the decision to activate the National Emergency Management Center across governorates anticipated to be impacted by the prevailing tropical conditions.
The Oman News Agency (ONA) has reported: "In light of the anticipated impact of the tropical conditions, the National Committee for Emergency Management has opted to activate the National Emergency Management Center, alongside sectors and sub-committees within the Governorates of South Al Sharqiyah, Al Wusta, and Dhofar. This decision is aimed at elevating the readiness and preparedness levels to effectively manage the ensuing effects."
