Muscat Nights: 692 Shooters Take Part In Shooting Competition

In Al Amerat, the shooting competition concluded on Saturday, featuring 692 participants from various governorates across the Sultanate of Oman at the traditional shooting ground. 

The event was held under the patronage of Sheikh Salim bin Rabie Al Senaidi, the Wali of Al Amerat, and was attended by Luciano Rossi, the President of the International Shooting Sport Federation. This competition was part of the Muscat Nights activities.

Competitors were organized into 21 groups, each consisting of 33 shooters, who competed over two days. The event culminated in a fierce contest among the 50 shooters who advanced to the finals.

At the conclusion of the competition, the Wali of Al Amerat recognized and honored the top-performing shooters. 

Ahmed bin Saif Al Shibli, Head of the Al Amerat Traditional Weapons Shooting Team Committee, presented commemorative shields to Luciano Rossi and the Wali of Al Amerat in recognition of their support for the event.

Luciano Rossi expressed his satisfaction with the organization of the competition, emphasizing the significance of fostering youth involvement and the importance of hosting such championships. He commended the attention and support provided by the relevant authorities for these events.
