Muscat: The Muscat Municipality, in collaboration with the Royal Oman Police (ROP), has announced that University Street has been reopened to traffic following the completion of expansion works designed to enhance infrastructure and reduce traffic congestion.
The newly expanded road now provides a direct connection from University Street to the Sultan Qaboos University bridge, promoting smoother traffic flow and improved access to the surrounding area. The Municipality expressed gratitude to the public for their patience and cooperation throughout the construction phase.
This initiative is part of the broader efforts to enhance the infrastructure and transportation network in Muscat, aiming to ensure a more efficient and safer commuting experience for all road users.
