Muscat: The second meeting of 2025 for the Supervisory Committee on Digital Transformation at the Ministry of Interior convened under the leadership of Khalifa Al Mardas Al Busaidi, who serves as the Secretary-General of the Ministry and heads the Committee.
During this meeting, multiple agenda topics were reviewed, with particular emphasis on monitoring the progress of digital transformation initiatives outlined in the current operational strategy. Implementation hurdles were also evaluated alongside the various phases of technical projects.
Additionally, the committee reviewed findings from the initial semi-annual assessment regarding excellence in governmental digital transformation. Several discussions focused on enhancing e-service platforms and improving digital efficiency within the Ministry.
These initiatives align with the goals of Oman Vision 2040 and propel the shift towards a smart governance framework.
