Muscat: In collaboration with the Foreign Ministry, the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion organized a video conference on Thursday with ambassadors leading Omani diplomatic missions across GCC states, Arab nations, Asian countries, and Australia.
The purpose of the meeting was to enhance economic diplomacy by fostering partnerships aimed at promoting investment and advancing Omani exports in international markets.
During the conference, participants explored strategies to empower embassies to register companies and potential investors, as well as to offer essential services through the “Invest Oman Lounge.”
The discussion also focused on specific strategies to consolidate efforts in increasing foreign direct investment (FDI), boosting Omani exports, accessing new markets for Omani products, promoting economic diversification, and supporting non-oil sectors.
