Muscat: On Thursday, the second meeting of 2024 was presided over by Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, the Minister of Interior.
The agenda for the meeting encompassed a variety of subjects, among which was a proposal to enhance municipal councils through the organization of numerous programs and seminars in the forthcoming period. Furthermore, there was a focus on the development of work within the governorates, aiming to align with the objectives of sustainable development goals (SDGs).
The Minister of Interior emphasized the critical need for ongoing collaboration between the governorates and the relevant authorities in all endeavors that contribute to the development of the development plan projects and their execution. Additionally, there was a call for the improvement of communication with the citizens and the mobilization of community partnerships.
