Salalah: On Sunday, the Ministry of Economy convened a collaborative meeting in Salalah, alongside the relevant departments, to deliberate on the requirements of projects that leverage the comparative and competitive advantages of the Dhofar Governorate, among other pertinent issues.
The agenda of the meeting focused on strategies to bolster the governorate's initiatives in executing critical projects across various sectors, in alignment with national strategies and programs pertinent to Oman Vision 2040 and the 10th Five Year Plan.
Presentations were delivered on several key projects, including the development of the Al-Hafa area, the Wadi Anaar Dam project, nature reserves surrounding Salalah Port, the construction of the new Qaboos Hospital in Salalah, Al Najd farms, the Raysut industrial zone, Salalah Port, and housing and urban planning projects within the governorate.
The collaborative meeting was graced by the presence of HH Sayyid Marwan Turki Al Said, the Governor of Dhofar, Dr. Said Mohammed Al Saqri, the Minister of Economy, Eng. Badr Salim Al Maamari, the Secretary General of the Tender Board, and officials from relevant authorities within the governorate.
