Prior to his Wimbledon semifinal match, Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic discussed the pleasure he finds in spending time with his children when he is not competing.
Djokovic advanced to the semi-final after his opponent, Alex de Minaur, withdrew from their quarter-final match in London. He is set to face off against Lorenzo Musetti, who emerged victorious against Taylor Fritz in the quarterfinals. Djokovic's path to the semi-final was made easier by de Minaur's decision to withdraw due to injury, granting Djokovic an uncontested victory.
In anticipation of the upcoming semifinal, Djokovic expressed, "I do enjoy my time with my family, with my kids, for example. I had some really nice time with my daughter yesterday on-site. I try to mix things up," as reported by the ATP website.
During his rare three-day break to prepare for the semifinal, Djokovic has adjusted his off-court routine over the years. However, his determination to secure victory remains unwavering.
Pursuing his eighth Wimbledon singles title, he aims to match Roger Federer's impressive record. Djokovic's confidence is bolstered by his dominant 5-1 lead over Musetti in their ATP Head to Head series, setting the stage for his 13th Wimbledon semifinal appearance.
Despite Musetti's sole victory at the 2023 Monte Carlo Masters, Djokovic's extensive experience at Wimbledon with a record of 96 wins and 11 losses greatly sets him apart from his opponent, who has only secured seven wins and suffered three losses on the prestigious London lawns.
