Muscat: An urgent call has been issued by the Department of Blood Banks Services (DBBS) for individuals with the AB (+ve) blood type to contribute blood at the Central Blood Bank in Baushar today, in response to a pressing medical situation involving severe hemorrhaging.
In a statement, DBBS highlighted the critical condition of a patient experiencing significant bleeding who is in dire need of a substantial supply of AB+ blood and its components. Those with this blood type are strongly encouraged to come forward and donate blood and platelets promptly at the Central Blood Bank located in Baushar.
Operating hours for blood donation at the Central Blood Bank in Baushar are as follows: from Saturday to Thursday, the hours are 8 am to 8 pm, while on Friday, donations can be made from 8 am until 2 pm.
