Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has made a visit to the Port of Antwerp during his official trip to the Kingdom of Belgium.
According to a statement from the Oman News Agency (ONA), "His Majesty the Sultan, alongside the King of Belgium, toured the Port of Antwerp as part of a state visit to the friendly Kingdom of Belgium."
The statement further noted that during the visit, His Majesty received an in-depth briefing on the port's significance, its strategic positioning, and future initiatives. Discussions also encompassed potential collaborations in the renewable energy sector, including green hydrogen and liquefied natural gas transportation, as well as opportunities for partnership in the ports and logistics domain.
