Muscat: This morning, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received Saqr Ghobash, the Speaker of the Federal National Council of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), at Al Barakah Palace.
During the meeting, the Speaker conveyed the warm greetings and best wishes of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE, to His Majesty the Sultan. In response, His Majesty expressed his sincere sentiments to be relayed to the President.
The discussion focused on the existing cooperation between the two nations, particularly in the realm of parliamentary councils and strategies for enhancing collaborative efforts in this area. The goal is to support the national plans and visions of both countries and fulfill the aspirations of their citizens.
The audience was also attended by Khalid Hilal Al Maawali, Chairman of the Shura Council, and Mohammed Nakhira Al Dhaheri, the UAE Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman.
