His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received Ajay Banga, President of the World Bank Group, at Al Barakah Palace today.
During the meeting, they engaged in discussions on various economic and developmental issues. The conversation also focused on enhancing collaboration between relevant departments in the Sultanate of Oman and the World Bank Group.
Furthermore, they reviewed the latest economic developments in Oman and explored opportunities to strengthen partnerships with the World Bank Group. This included discussions on exchanging expertise, sharing knowledge, enhancing the capabilities of national professionals, and supporting the initiatives and role of the World Bank in the region.
Sultan bin Salim Al Habsi, Minister of Finance, was also present at the audience.
