Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has conveyed his well wishes on the occasion of the commencement of the sacred month of Ramadan.
The Royal message was conveyed through a statement released by the Diwan of Royal Court, which stated:
"As Muslims across the globe, both in the east and west, celebrate the beginning of the blessed month of Ramadan in the year 1445 AH, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik extends his greetings to the honorable citizens, residents of the Sultanate of Oman, and the entire Islamic nation. He congratulates them on being blessed with the opportunity to witness the sacred days and nights of this holy month, bestowed upon them by the Almighty Allah. In expressing these greetings, His Majesty the Sultan prays to the Almighty Allah to bring forth this occasion in a time when all are experiencing prosperity and tranquility.
May the Almighty Allah safeguard His Majesty the Sultan and preserve him as a source of strength and pride for the beloved homeland of Oman, its people, and its residents.
