Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has been graciously received with a cable of thanks and appreciation from the attendees of the 16th Annual Meeting of the International Forum of Sovereign Wealth Funds (IFSWF), which took place in Muscat from November 3rd to 6th.
The participants extended their deepest gratitude and appreciation to His Majesty for the warm reception and hospitality extended to them.
The forum, marking the largest assembly in its history since its inception in 2009, was highly commended for the success of the event. The participants also expressed their admiration for the achievements of the Oman Investment Authority in organizing the conference, highlighting the Authority's excellence in governance, sustainability, and transparency, meeting the highest standards in line with the Santiago Principles, which are the guiding principles of the Forum.
Furthermore, the participants valued the significant interest shown by government institutions in ensuring the success of the activities of the meeting, eagerly anticipating the contributions of the conference to further strengthen the partnership among the members.
