Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander, has granted a special royal pardon to several prisoners convicted in different cases.
An official representative from the Royal Oman Police reported that a total of 341 inmates, comprising both Omani and foreign nationals, have received the royal pardon.
This pardon is issued in celebration of the Prophet's Birthday (Mawlid al-Nabi) 1447 AH, and in recognition of their families.
