Muscat: Her Highness the Honourable Lady Assayida Ahd Abdullah Hamed Al Busaidi, the spouse of the Sultan of Oman, has conveyed her warm wishes to mothers in Oman and across the globe in celebration of Mother's Day, observed annually on March 21.
In her message, she stated: “It is with great pleasure that we extend our sincere greetings to all mothers in our cherished nation on this special occasion of Mother's Day, which is celebrated on March 21, as well as to mothers worldwide.
This day serves as a reminder of our loyalty, gratitude, and appreciation for the immense sacrifices mothers make in nurturing their children, safeguarding their families and communities, and instilling virtuous values and principles.
This year, as we honor Mother's Day during the sacred month of Ramadan, we pray to Allah the Almighty to bless mothers everywhere with safety, dignity, happiness, and stability.
We also beseech the Almighty to provide mothers with the necessary resources and support to effectively and comfortably fulfill their responsibilities to their families and society.
