Muscat: Today, His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, the esteemed Minister of Culture, Sports, and Youth, convened a formal meeting at his residence in Muscat. The distinguished guest of honor was Roman Golovchenko, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus.
Throughout the duration of the meeting, HH Sayyid Theyazin extended his warmest greetings and heartfelt wishes of health and happiness to the President of the Republic of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko. He also expressed His Majesty's desires for the continued progress and stability of the Belarusian people.
In response, Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko sought to reciprocate the hospitality and expressed his sincere greetings and wishes of good health and wellbeing to His Majesty Sultan Haitham. He further conveyed the President of Belarus's aspirations for the Omani people to experience further progress and prosperity.
The agenda of the meeting encompassed a comprehensive review of the bilateral relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Belarus. Discussions were held on the expansion of the scope of bilateral relations across various sectors to mutually benefit the friendly nations. Additionally, the meeting addressed matters of mutual concern.
The gathering was graced by the presence of Dr. Saud Hamoud Al Habsi, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Water Resources, serving as the Head of the Honorary Mission, and Hamoud Salim Al Tuwaih, the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Russian Federation and its Non-Resident Ambassador to the Republic of Belarus.
Furthermore, the meeting was attended by the Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus accredited to the Sultanate of Oman.
