Muscat: His Highness Sayyid Belarab bin Haitham Al Said officiated the opening ceremony for the "Manah 1" and "Manah 2" solar energy projects, situated in the Wilayat of Manah in the Al Dakhiliyah Governorate. These pivotal initiatives, executed by Nama Power and Water Procurement Company, mark a significant milestone in Oman's efforts to harness renewable energy. With a total production capacity of 1,000 megawatts, the projects were realized through a considerable investment of around OMR 307 million Omani Rials.
The inauguration of the Manah solar plants represents an important advancement in the development of renewable energy within the Sultanate. These initiatives highlight Oman's dedication to adopting sustainable energy practices and actively working to lower carbon emissions.
