GCC Secretary-General Values Oman’s Efforts In Releasing Galaxy Leader Ship's Crew

Riyadh: Jasem Mohamed Al Budaiwi, the Secretary General of the GCC, has commended the Sultanate of Oman for its mediation efforts that resulted in the release of the crew from the Galaxy Leader ship. 

The crew, comprising 25 individuals of various nationalities, had been held near the Yemeni coast since November 2023. Al Budaiwi emphasized that these efforts underscore Oman's significant role in promoting regional stability and security, as well as its steadfast dedication to fostering both regional and international collaboration aimed at ensuring security in the Red Sea area and alleviating tensions.
