Salalah: A two-day conference on the subject of psychological safety and mental health within the workplace commenced today in Salalah.
This conference is organized by the Ministry of Labour in collaboration with the Omani Society for Human Resources Management (OSHRM).
The inaugural ceremony took place under the esteemed patronage of HH Sayyid Marwan Turki Al Said, the Governor of Dhofar.
The primary objective of this forum is to enhance public consciousness regarding the critical importance of psychological safety and mental health in the workplace, while also offering a platform for the exchange of knowledge and expertise on the application of innovative techniques to assist employees in addressing psychological challenges.
Through the presentation of working papers and the conduct of discussion panels, the conference delves into the fundamentals of psychological safety within the workplace, the associated challenges, and the methodology of managing employee performance, online work, and its influence on employee well-being.
Furthermore, the conference addresses the significance of leadership in fostering a healthy work environment for employees and the critical role of psychological safety in enhancing job satisfaction and the productivity of an institution.
