Foreign Minister Meets Iranian Officials

Tehran: Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, the Foreign Minister, held a meeting today in Tehran with Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf, the Speaker of the Parliament of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

During their discussions, the two officials evaluated the state of bilateral relations, particularly focusing on the existing cooperation between the Shura councils of both nations. They also addressed various regional and international issues of shared concern.

Both parties emphasized the significance of enhancing bilateral cooperation to promote security and stability within the region.

Additionally, the Foreign Minister met with Ali Akbar Ahmadian, the Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC).

This meeting centered on the collaborative efforts between the Sultanate of Oman and the Islamic Republic of Iran, with both sides sharing insights on recent developments in regional and international contexts.

The officials underscored the importance of fostering dialogue as a peaceful approach to strengthen security and stability in the region.

Attending the two meetings were Sheikh Ahmed Hashel Al Maskari, Head of the GCC Department at the Foreign Ministry, Ibrahim Ahmed Al Maani, the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Iran, along with several officials from both delegations.
