Muscat: A fire that broke out in a storage tank at the OQ refineries complex inside the Sohar Industrial Port on Thursday, July 24, 2025, has been successfully controlled, according to the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA).
Members of the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) in North Al Batinah Governorate responded to the event. According to the CDAA, the company's internal firefighting crews played an important role in controlling and eventually extinguishing the fire.
No injuries have been reported as a result of the event.
