Muscat: The Embassy of Pakistan in Muscat recently organized a special event to honor the exceptional contributions of Pakistani doctors, healthcare professionals, and social workers in Oman. This event, held in conjunction with Pakistan Day celebrations, marked the third gathering in a series dedicated to celebrating solidarity and service.

Ms. Rudaina Amur Al Hajri graced the occasion as the chief guest and presented certificates to the deserving awardees. Additionally, Abdul Lateed Uppala, a member of the Board of Directors of OCCI and owner of Badr As Sama Group, along with Sheikh Abdullah Mohammad Alajmi, were esteemed guests of honor.

The event witnessed a significant turnout of diplomats, community leaders, and Pakistanis from various walks of life, all gathering to pay tribute to the unwavering dedication displayed by Pakistani professionals serving in Oman.

The recognized doctors have selflessly served the people of Oman for numerous years, demonstrating compassion and commitment. Particularly during the challenging times of the pandemic, they stood at the forefront as warriors, healing and saving countless lives. Their service truly embodies the highest standards of the medical profession.

Furthermore, the event acknowledged and awarded certificates to approximately twenty-five Pakistani social workers from across Oman. These community leaders play a vital role in supporting the Embassy's efforts to provide essential community services throughout the country.

Imran Ali, the Ambassador of Pakistan to Oman, expressed deep admiration for the remarkable contributions made by the awardees. He reiterated the Embassy's unwavering commitment to supporting and empowering Pakistani professionals in Oman.
