Deputy PM Of Kosovo Lauds Oman’s Efforts In Promoting Security, Peace

Donika Gërvalla-Schwarz, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Republic of Kosovo, commended the Sultanate of Oman for its remarkable progress in comprehensive development and its foreign policy. She described Oman as a haven of security and stability in the Middle East region.

She emphasized that the international community greatly values Oman's efforts to promote security, peace, and coexistence in the region.

These remarks were made during a meeting between Dr. Mohammed Awadh Al Hassan, the Permanent Representative of the Sultanate of Oman to the United Nations (UN) in New York, and the Kosovo official at the headquarters of the Permanent Mission of the Sultanate of Oman to the UN.

The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of Kosovo called for the strengthening of cooperation and friendship between the people of Oman and Kosovo in various fields, particularly in investment, education, and tourism.

She also expressed Kosovo's warm welcome to Omani students and visitors who are interested in studying at its universities and exploring its tourist attractions.

Furthermore, she highlighted the solidarity of the Kosovo people with the issues faced by the Middle East region, including the urgent need for an immediate cessation of the war in the Gaza Strip and the protection of civilians.

The meeting was attended by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo and Khalid Saleh Al Rubkhi, the Deputy Permanent Representative of the Sultanate of Oman to the United Nations in New York.
