Muscat: The Department of Blood Banks Services (DBBS) has issued an urgent call to individuals with O+ blood type to consider donating blood at the Central Blood Bank in Baushar, located in the Muscat Governorate.
In a statement disseminated on the internet, DBBS has emphasized the critical need for blood donations at the Central Blood Bank in Baushar, citing an imminent shortage of blood units (O+), necessitated by a severe bleeding condition.
"The blood donation hours at the Central Blood Bank in Baushar are as follows: Saturday to Thursday from 8 am to 8 pm, and Friday from 8 am to 2 pm. For inquiries or to schedule an appointment for blood donation, please reach out to the Central Blood Bank via WhatsApp at 94555648," the statement concluded.
