Muscat: Dar Al Atta’a Association has achieved third place in the fifth edition of the Khaled Al-Essa Al-Saleh Award for Institutional Excellence.
The award ceremony took place under the patronage of Dr. Amthal Al-Huwailah, the Minister of Social Affairs, Family, and Childhood in Kuwait, and was organized by the Union of Charitable Societies, with participation from various charitable organizations across the Gulf region.
This award is regarded as one of the most esteemed recognitions, honoring the exceptional contributions of charitable and humanitarian organizations in Kuwait, the Gulf region, and the broader Arab world.
It serves as a leading example in advancing charitable initiatives and promoting humanitarian values within communities.
On this occasion, Ms. Mariam bint Issa Al Zadjali, the Founder and Chairperson of the Association, expressed her happiness regarding this recognition, stating that it underscores the association’s dedication to implementing best practices in management and quality standards.
She noted that the association has achieved ISO 9001 certification for quality management and ISO 14001 certification for environmental management. Additionally, Dar Al Atta’a is the first voluntary charitable organization to receive governance certification from the Oman Centre for Governance and Sustainability.
This accomplishment reinforces the association’s prominent role in utilizing modern technologies and adhering to high standards to enhance its humanitarian initiatives and achieve its noble objectives.
