Conference Reviews Challenges, Opportunities In Water Sector

Muscat: The Oman Water Week Conference commenced on Monday, featuring the insights of 100 speakers from both international and regional backgrounds.

The opening ceremony took place under the patronage of HH Sayyid Dr. Fahad Al Julanda Al Said, Vice Chancellor of Sultan Qaboos University (SQU).

This year's Oman Water Week is anticipated to draw over 2,500 attendees, including more than 100 speakers and upwards of 60 exhibitors from 25 different countries, establishing it as a leading event in the water sector within the region.

The conference brings together a notable assembly of experts, professionals, and policymakers from the public and private sectors, providing a significant forum for addressing current challenges and exploring future prospects in water resource management.

Throughout the week, participants can engage in various specialized workshops and technical sessions that showcase successful case studies from both regional and global contexts, fostering knowledge sharing and collaboration across multiple sectors.
