Muscat: On Tuesday, the National Plans and Achievements Conference, themed "Looking Ahead to the Future and Realizing Aspirations," commenced in Muscat, focusing on crucial topics such as strategic planning, sustainable development, and the enhancement of cooperation between governmental and private sectors.
This conference has been organized by the Media Thought Firm in partnership with the Ministry of Labour.
Over the course of two days, the conference showcases exemplary practices in leadership and management by highlighting successful experiences in the development of institutional performance, along with notable national plans and accomplishments. It also delves into the key success factors and their influence on sustainable development.
This event addresses the influence of contemporary technology on innovation, the enhancement of institutional efficiency, and the approaches necessary for future foresight to create long-term strategies aimed at confronting challenges and capitalizing on future opportunities.
The opening ceremony was graced by Salem Muslim Al Busaidi, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labour for Human Resources Development, and was attended by a group of national leaders, as well as experts and specialists from both within and beyond the borders of the Sultanate of Oman.
The conference aims to engage leaders from both public and private sectors, government officials, strategic planning managers, professionals specializing in foresight and planning, as well as managers from banks and financial institutions, along with internal audit and human resources directors.
The event emphasizes successful national experiences in both planning and execution, encouraging collaboration among national entities to exchange knowledge and presenting innovative approaches for future foresight.
The agenda for today included three panel discussions: the first focused on sustainable development and international partnerships, the second was titled "Vision and Working Toward the Big Goal," and the third addressed "Safeguarding Society Against Financial Fraud Through AI-Driven Technological Innovations. "
On the following day (Wednesday), there will be five panel discussions dedicated to digital transformation, planning, and future foresight, featuring several experts and specialists as speakers.
