Nizwa: The entrepreneurship conference for the Middle East and North Africa region began on Wednesday at the University of Nizwa.
This event, hosted by the university in collaboration with the Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises Development (ASMED), Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), the University of Technology and Applied Sciences in Ibri, and the Royal University for Women of the Kingdom of Bahrain, is a significant gathering.
The ceremony to start the event was presided over by Dr. Said Mohammed Al Saqri, the Minister of Economy.
A total of 80 researchers and experts in entrepreneurship and innovation from 20 different nations are participating in the conference. This includes entrepreneurs from Oman.
The conference covers a wide range of subjects, including the outlook for entrepreneurship in the Middle East and North Africa, the innovative ventures of the participating nations, and the critical role of research in fostering entrepreneurship, among other issues.
