A'Suwaiq: According to the Northern Al Batinah Governorate Municipality, the development project for street vendors in the Al Khadra neighborhood of the Wilayat of A'Suwaiq is 80% complete.
Eng. Mohsin Mohammed Al Ajmi of the municipality's Projects Department said that the goal of the project is to build a safe, clean atmosphere while controlling commercial activities.
The development consists of various amenities, including shaded structures of 460 square meters for 20 fruit and vegetable booths, specific fishselling sections with 10 cleaning and cutting stations, and infrastructure improvements featuring a 580-meter paved road, 70 parking spaces, and 15 lighting poles, all within an approximate total area of 2,970 square meters.
Al Ajmi emphasised that the initiative not only boosts small economic activities but also improves urban attractiveness, demonstrating the municipality's dedication to providing excellent community services and attaining sustainable regional development.
