Muscat: The Central Bank of Oman (CBO) has announced the outcomes of the 72nd Government Development Bonds (GDB) issuance, valued at Omani Rials (OR) 98,000,000.
In a press release issued by the CBO's Market Operations Department, it has been disclosed that the 72nd GDB Issue, which has garnered significant interest from investors, has seen a total of applications reaching Omani Rials (RO) 173,416,500.
The average yield for this issue was determined at 4.75 percent, with the highest yield recorded at 4.77 percent at an equivalent price of RO 99,910, and the lowest yield observed at 4.74 percent at an equivalent price of RO 100,045.
The bond, a 5-year issuance, is scheduled to be issued today, Tuesday, and will mature on November 5, 2029, with a coupon rate of 4.75 percent per annum.
