Beloved Indian School Seeb Teacher Lekha Jackson Passes Away At 53

MUSCAT: The Indian School Al Seeb (ISAS) community is mourning the loss of one of its most popular teachers, Ms. Lekha Jackson, who died on July 21, 2025, at the age of 53.

Ms. Jackson was a dedicated educator and passionate music teacher who had a lasting influence on generations of students and coworkers throughout her long and outstanding career at the Seeb campus.

Ms. Jackson joined the school on August 11, 2006, and has worked as a key member of the teaching staff for nearly two decades, earning a reputation for her friendliness, inventiveness, and unwavering devotion to her pupils.

She was diagnosed with cancer in February of this year, prompting her return to India for treatment. Despite her sickness, she remained upbeat and maintained regular contact with her school family, who showered her with love and prayers.

According to one of the ISAS instructors, she was more than simply a teacher; she was a mentor, friend, and source of inspiration to everyone who knew her. Her dedication for teaching and art, as well as her calm, compassionate nature, will always be remembered.

During this trying time, the Indian School board of directors and the ISAS family convey their heartfelt condolences to her family and friends.
