Agreement Worth OMR25mn Signed For Building Fuel Tanks At Shinas Port

Shinas: On Tuesday, Shinas Port entered into a formal agreement with Zuhoor Al Khaleej Company, a subsidiary of Zuhoor Al Khaleej, to construct fuel tanks and oversee the supply and storage services. This agreement, valued at OMR25.60 million, stipulates the construction of tanks capable of holding over 100,000 tonnes per litre.

The formalization of this agreement was witnessed by Abdulbaqi Ahmed Al Kindi, the CEO of QSS Maritime, the operational entity at Shinas Port, alongside Wahid Inat Mansour Yan, the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the executing company.

Khater Ali Al Maamari, the Executive Director of Shinas Port, elucidated that the foundation of this agreement is rooted in a strategic objective to expand the port's business operations, particularly in the development of storage and fuel supply services, as well as the provision of tanks for various petroleum products.

Al Maamari highlighted that this initiative is expected to significantly enhance commercial activities at the port, address the needs of the surrounding areas, and augment the port's capacity to attract further investments.
