Muscat: Today, the Joint Command and Staff College at the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies marked the commencement of its 39th course for officer students. The ceremony took place under the patronage of Brigadier Mohammed Ahmed Al Mashaikhi, Commandant of the Joint Command and Staff College.
During this event, the Commandant of the Joint Command and Staff College addressed the officer students, encouraging them to be diligent and committed in their quest for military and academic knowledge. He also welcomed the students from Arab and friendly nations, wishing them an enjoyable stay in Oman and success throughout the course.
The course includes participation from officers of the Ministry of Defence, the Sultan's Armed Forces, and various military and security units. Additionally, officers from the armed forces of GCC countries and several other Arab and friendly nations are also involved.
The event was attended by numerous senior officers from the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies, along with the training and administrative staff of the Joint Command and Staff College.
