This event is designed to foster sustainable development by highlighting authentic Omani heritage through innovative and engaging activities suitable for all age groups. It leverages the region's rich natural and geographical diversity while supporting 120 entrepreneurs, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), artisans, and productive families.

His Excellency Dr. Yahya bin Badr Al Maawali, Governor of South Al Sharqiyah, remarked, "This year's 'Winter Taha'im' season showcases the distinctive heritage and culture of the South Al Sharqiyah Governorate. The success of the inaugural edition motivated us to develop an even more varied and comprehensive experience that aligns with our guests' expectations. The season features activities that combine entertainment and education, with a strong emphasis on supporting SMEs and productive families to invigorate the local economy and promote Omani products."

His Excellency Mohammed bin Ali Akakak, Wali of Jaalan Bani Bu Hassan and Chairman of the Organizing Committee, highlighted that the event serves as a significant national platform for enhancing the cultural and heritage identity of the Wilayat of Jaalan Bani Bu Hassan, showcasing its natural and tourism resources. He noted that this year's season has been crafted to be more diverse and inclusive, appealing to a broader audience while presenting Omani heritage in fresh and exciting ways. The festival also offers a crucial opportunity to strengthen the local economy, featuring dedicated spaces for SMEs and productive families through the "Taha'im Market," thereby reinforcing their contributions to economic and social development.

The opening ceremony showcased a spectacular array of lights, lasers, and fireworks, establishing an enchanting ambiance. A documentary film highlighting the achievements of the inaugural edition, particularly its influence on the local economy and tourism, was presented. Additionally, a promotional film illustrated a falcon's journey from Mount Qahwan, showcasing the attractions of Jaalan Bani Bu Hassan—verdant oases, historic neighborhoods, unspoiled beaches, and expansive golden sands—representing authenticity and resilience, while inviting guests to discover the region's distinctive allure.

This season features a diverse and engaging lineup of activities suitable for all age groups. The "Sand Theatre" will present artistic, cultural, and heritage performances, poetry nights, competitions, and entertainment shows. Sports and heritage events, including camel races ("Namous"), equestrian displays, and "Zveen" competitions, will also take place, alongside educational initiatives that highlight Omani heritage in a modern context. To further enrich the visitor experience, the "Taha'im Market" will be complemented by various restaurants and cafes.
