Muscat: The landscape and external spaces design for Sultan Haitham City's first phase has won the finest Landscape Architectural Design award for 2025-2026 at the Arabian Property Awards. This accomplishment was done in cooperation with LWK + Partners and Meinhardt, who specialise in urban and engineering design.

This honor recognizes the excellence of planning and design that takes into account the human and ecological aspects. It has a balanced distribution of open spaces and integrates the urban environment with green trails and pedestrian routes, improving living quality and reinforcing the notion of smart and sustainable cities.

Eng. Amal Musallam Al Zaidi, a city planner and landscape engineer at the Executive Office for Future Cities, said that receiving this renowned award exemplifies the project's dedication to the highest standards of sustainable urban planning. Sultan Haitham City, she said, is a unified design concept that connects people to their surroundings, adding a balanced character of function and beauty to daily life.

The project is being undertaken in collaboration with a group of local and international firms that expertise in design and engineering supervision. Collaboration with local and foreign developers has begun on infrastructure projects and the first residential communities. This is part of a full development plan that is consistent with the greatest urban standards and reflects the city's aims for sustainability and quality of life.
