MUSCAT: His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, the Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, will oversee the closing ceremony of the 15th Arab Theatre Festival on Wednesday.
The festival has been organized in the Sultanate of Oman, with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth collaborating with the Arab Theatre Authority and the Omani Theatre Society.
Throughout the festival, numerous theatrical performances from various Arab nations were showcased, featuring over 500 actors and actresses from both the Sultanate of Oman and other Arab countries.
This event aligns with the objectives of the Cultural Strategy set forth by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, which seeks to promote the cultural and theatrical landscape in the Sultanate of Oman. It also provides a platform for Omani theatre artists to engage in performances, training workshops, and intellectual discussions that enhance the cultural and artistic environment.
