Muscat: On Wednesday, Gen. Sultan Mohammed Al Nu’mani, Minister of the Royal Office, welcomed Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan, along with his delegation, in his office.
The discussion focused on the development of bilateral relations and identified opportunities to enhance collaboration for mutual benefit.
The Chargé d'Affaires of Afghanistan’s Embassy in Muscat was also present at the meeting.
Additionally, Gen. Sultan Mohammed Al Nu’mani met with Qais Saad Al Amri, the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Oman. They discussed strategies to strengthen cooperation between Oman and Iraq and addressed various issues of shared interest on both regional and international levels.
Furthermore, on the same day, the Minister of the Royal Office received Florin Marius Tacu, the Ambassador of Romania to Oman, to mark the conclusion of his diplomatic mission in the country.
Al Nu’mani expressed gratitude to the ambassador for his contributions to fostering bilateral relations and cooperation, wishing him success in his future pursuits.
In response, the ambassador conveyed his appreciation for the support he received, highlighting the robust ties between Oman and Romania.
