ROP Announces Opening Of Dibba Border Crossing In Musandam

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has officially announced that operations at the Dibba border crossing in the Musandam Governorate will begin on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. This new border facility aims to improve travel between the Sultanate of Oman and the United Arab Emirates, thereby enhancing connectivity and facilitating movement for both citizens and visitors.

In a statement, the ROP emphasized the importance of this new border crossing, stating, "We would like to inform citizens and travelers that operations at the Dibba border in Musandam Governorate will commence on February 26, 2025. This crossing will serve as a vital link between the Sultanate of Oman and the United Arab Emirates, contributing to the effective management of land, air, and sea borders to ease movement."

The ROP has also reminded travelers to ensure they adhere to all required travel procedures and documentation when utilizing the newly opened border point.
