Muscat: Several regions within Oman are anticipated to receive rainfall from the 21st of October, 2024, to the 24th of October, 2024, as per the forecasts issued by the Oman Meteorology Department.
In a formal announcement, the Oman Meteorology Department has stated that meteorological models suggest the gradual emergence of clouds starting from the evening of the 21st of October across certain regions of the Al Wusta and Dhofar governorates, which could result in sporadic showers. The forecast indicates that from the 22nd to the 24th of October, there will be an increase in cloud formation, leading to sporadic rainfall, occasionally punctuated by thunderstorms, particularly in these regions. Additionally, the department has forecast the presence of cumulus cloud activity and scattered thunderstorms over the Al Hajar Mountains during this timeframe.
The National Centre for Early Warning of Multiple Hazards is diligently monitoring the evolving situation and recommends that residents remain informed by adhering to official weather advisories.
