Pakistan’s Independence Day Celebrated In Oman

On the celebration of Pakistan's Independence Day, His Excellency Imran Ali, the Ambassador of Pakistan to the Sultanate of Oman, was present during the flag-hoisting ceremony at the Pakistan School in Muscat.

The ceremony was attended by representatives from the Embassy, officials aboard the Pakistan Navy Ship YARMOOK in service to Oman, members of the Pakistani community, and faculty and parents of the school.

The Ambassador's address during this significant event on Pakistan's Independence Day underscored the value of a sovereign homeland, exploring various facets of the Pakistan Movement. Additionally, the Ambassador bestowed awards for commendable acts of valor demonstrated by Pakistanis during a recent incident of fire in Muscat, highlighting acts of bravery in the defense of innocent lives.

In his remarks, the Ambassador of Pakistan to Oman conveyed, "On this momentous occasion of the 77th Independence Day of Pakistan, I wish to extend my warmest greetings to all Pakistanis residing in the Sultanate of Oman. This day serves as a poignant reminder of the opportunities we have to reaffirm our commitment towards the vision of a more prosperous and united Pakistan, as articulated by the Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah."
