Muscat: The Consumer Protection Authority (CPA) in Muscat confiscated 347 items with symbols deemed harmful to religious ideals. The seized goods, which consisted of school supplies and children's toys, were discovered with skull designs and were being sold by businesses in blatant breach of the Consumer Protection Law.
The businesses were penalized and the items were seized as a result of the infringement. The CPA's action emphasizes its continued efforts to verify that economic operations comply with rules and respect societal ideals.
