The fourth board meeting of the Oman Olympic Committee (OOC) took place on Wednesday, during which several important decisions were made. Chaired by OOC president Khalid Al Zubair, the meeting not only reviewed the recommendations from the previous meeting but also gave its approval. Additionally, the board approved the recommendations put forth by the Oman Sports Medicine Committee and the Oman Athletes Committee.
As part of the Olympic Solidarity programmes for the period of 2021-2024, the OOC will fund five projects. These projects aim to provide support to the technical and administrative staff of the OOC, as well as facilitate knowledge exchange programmes for athletes.
Furthermore, the board members carefully examined and gave their approval to the minutes of the meetings held by various sub-committees, including the Oman Sports Medicine and Anti-Doping Committee, as well as the Oman Athletes Committee.
