Oman's Foreign Minister Participates In GCC Coordination Meeting In New York

New York: The esteemed Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, the Foreign Minister of the Kingdom, took part in a coordination meeting convened by the GCC Foreign Ministers.

This assembly took place concurrently with the ministers' attendance at the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly, which was hosted in New York.

The agenda of the meeting spanned a broad spectrum of topics pertinent to the international action agenda of the UN General Assembly, as well as the forthcoming scheduled joint meetings between the GCC states and various countries and regional blocs.

The Ministers emphasized their unwavering support for the endeavors undertaken to address regional and international challenges, with a particular focus on the Palestinian cause and the efforts to bring an end to the conflict in the Gaza Strip, as well as to mitigate the current escalations occurring across various fronts.

Furthermore, the foreign ministers highlighted the GCC countries' commitment to fostering dialogue, upholding justice, international law, and the application of the UN Charter in the resolution of conflicts.
