Moscow: On Tuesday, the Chechen State Pedagogical University officially opened an Omani Publications Corner, representing a significant step in cultural collaboration between the National Museum of Oman and the university.
This event marks the 40th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the Sultanate of Oman and the Russian Federation.
The Omani Publications Corner intends to assist non-Arabic-speaking students specializing in Omani studies by familiarizing them with Oman’s civilizational and intellectual heritage. This initiative intends to strengthen cultural links between the two friendly nations and promote additional academic and research cooperation.
The corner has a wide variety of books and cultural and educational publications in subjects such as literature, language, history, science, media, arts, Islamic studies, geography, and the environment.
Similarly, the National Museum organised a cultural program for 180 students from Muscat Governorate schools through its Learning Centre. The program broadened Omani students' intellectual and cultural horizons by introducing them to Russian literature through carefully chosen literary and artistic works that demonstrated the richness of the Russian language and culture.
