Omani Officials Visit The Port Of Amsterdam

Amsterdam: In conjunction with His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik's state visit to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, several ministers and officials toured the Port of Amsterdam on Tuesday.

The purpose of the visit was to explore potential areas of collaboration and investment between the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of the Netherlands, particularly in green hydrogen, clean energy, and logistics services.

Eng. Salim Nasser Al Aufi, the Minister of Energy and Minerals, stated, "The visit is intended to assess the site for the liquefied hydrogen receiving plant from the Sultanate of Oman, scheduled for 2030."

He further noted that the visit included presentations from all 11 operational companies from Oman, the Netherlands, and Germany, with the companies expressing their dedication to achieving the outlined objectives.

Abdul Salam Al Murshidi, Chairman of the Oman Investment Authority, emphasized that the partnership between the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of the Netherlands is built on mutual trust between the producer and the importer, highlighting that their collaborative efforts have led to the signing of agreements between the two nations.
