Muscat: Qais Mohammed Al Yousef, the Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, welcomed Faisal Thani Faisal Al Thani, the Minister of Commerce and Industry from the State of Qatar, today.
The meeting took place at the “Invest Oman Lounge” and focused on enhancing collaboration between the two nations in trade and industry, particularly in attracting high-quality investments across various sectors, including entertainment and tourism.
Additionally, the discussion included the expansion of the gas pipeline connecting Oman and Qatar. Both parties underscored the necessity of expediting GCC negotiations to finalize free trade agreements with global partners.
Attendees included Dr. Saleh Said Masan, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion for Commerce and Industry, Ibtisam Ahmed Al Farooji, Undersecretary for Investment Promotion, Mubarak Fahad Al Thani, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Oman, along with other officials from both countries.
