Oman, KSA Explore Means Of Boosting Cooperation In Health Sector

Muscat: On Monday, the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) engaged in discussions aimed at strengthening collaboration and partnerships within the health sector, alongside exploring potential investment opportunities.

This dialogue occurred during a joint meeting held in Muscat, which involved representatives from the Ministry of Health and the Saudi Exports Development Authority, along with private sector companies from the KSA.

Dr. Ahmed Salim Al Manthiri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Planning and Health Organization, emphasized the significance of such meetings to leverage the experiences of both nations across various domains, particularly in healthcare.

He also highlighted the critical need for the automation of health systems, as well as the necessity for rebuilding, redesigning, and reengineering the health sector.
