Oman Condemns Brutal Bombing Of Gaza School By Israeli Occupation Forces

Muscat: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman has issued a statement expressing its condemnation of the heinous act of violence perpetrated by Israeli occupation forces against the Al-Tabi’in School, which served as a refuge for displaced individuals within the Al-Daraj neighborhoods of Gaza Strip.

This act of aggression led to the tragic loss of over 100 lives and the injury of numerous unarmed civilians, further adding to the grim tally of atrocities committed by the occupying forces against the Palestinian populace.

The Sultanate of Oman unequivocally asserts that the deliberate targeting of educational institutions and civilian areas constitutes a grave breach of international humanitarian law and the resolutions of international legitimacy.

It has reiterated its call for the international community to intervene promptly in halting these egregious acts, to safeguard the lives of innocent civilians, to ensure accountability for the deaths, and to impose international sanctions against Israel.

Furthermore, the Sultanate of Oman has reaffirmed its unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people to self-defense and the establishment of an independent state, with East Jerusalem as its capital, in alignment with the mandates of Security Council resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.
